A New Year

and a new beginning right?? I'm ready to make 2009 count. I basically ended 2008 at the same weight I started. Not bad. At least it wasn't a gain but I realized I still haven't made it to my pre-pregnancy weight. How sad is that?? Especially since the girls are almost 14 months old. :sigh: Oh well. I should not and will not dwell on the past. It's time to move on.

I was supposed to wake up at 4 am and exercise this morning but I did not. I woke up at 4:30. Still better than waking up at 5am like I'm use to. I will get there. I found a really great Yoga program on FitTv that I like called Namaste Yoga so I'm TiVo'ing them. Now I just need to start doing them. =) Plus I have my 5K on February 1st that I already signed up for. I haven't run since I ran my first 5K in October. YIKES!!! I need to get back to it. TONIGHT. Otherwise I will not be ready. I'll probably be one of the last people finishing but I guess that's ok. I did it to myself right?? At least I'll get to run along the beach! I just hope it's not too cold. LOL!

Well, I'm ready to get this party started. I'm starting out this year at 179.0. I WILL not go back into the 180's and I'm ready to get out of the 170's ASAP!!

New Year

Well today is December 30th. One more day and 2008 will be over with. Not that I am sad to see it go but I'm not. But I am looking forward to 2009. I know 2009 will have lots of fun times. And I am hoping to see all of my goals completed or close to it. We are going camping and leaving tomorrow. We will be back Saturday night. So I am planning on Sunday being THE day. The day to stop this nonsense. THE day to get back my health, my body, my self-esteem. THE DAY.

LONG time

It's been almost two years since I've written here. I think it's time to resurrect this blog! 2009 is the YEAR I get to goal. 2007 was not because I got pregnant. LOL! 2008 SHOULD have been the year but with twin babies - I do have to give myself a break. At least this year, as long as I don't gain 6 lbs in the next two weeks, I will have a loss - although SMALL - for this year.

This blog is to chronicle my weight loss. No family members will be privy to it. That way if I need to vent because they are causing me grief and I want to eat (and we now we shouldn't let our emotions dictate what we eat) then I can do it here. =) And so this blog is resurrected from the dead. LOL!
